Male models are usually between 5′10″ and 6′3″ in height, and 140-170 lbs in weight. Fitness and nutrition play a major role in tuning the male body to the proper physique. Major brand names such as Abercrombie & Fitch have used male models very heavily to sculpt their image. Male modeling surged in popularity after the comedy film Zoolander hit the big screen in 2001. The movie features Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as feuding male models who are both at the top of the their game.
